Our First through Third Grade students sang a list of songs to the theme "Peace, Love, and Brotherhood."
With roaring pride, our Jack Franscioni Lions woke up early in the morning to participate in the Big Sur International Marathon on April 29. We appreciate the energies Ms. Hernandez exerted both in organizing for our students to run and certainly for running herself.
Sometimes thinking outside the box means to look in one, a pizza box that is! In these pictures, you can have a pizza-flavored taste of their scientific explorations. The first grade team; Ms. Empson, Ms. Hernandez, and Mr. Firme's classes; enjoyed the time at the Aquarium observing sea creatures and their functions. Afterwards, they headed over to neighboring Dennis the Menace Park and let out some excess energies. Here are some of the highlights of the trip. Today we kicked off a yoyo fundraiser that will benefit our school and, of course, our students. Students are now enthusiastic about purchasing their new yoyos. Don't worry though: we reviewed safety guidelines and appropriate places to use them, as well as the need to ask parent permission before purchasing. Please see the front office if you wish to purchase! |
